Knowledge Discovery from Information Extraction

Very large datasets, such as those obtained by real-time monitoring, often hold important information which is not known soon enough to be used in decision making. Data filtering and data analysis methods are being designed and tested to identify and visualize the knowledge contained within these very large datasets, in real-time.

Using Kean University's supercomputer, Puma, and working with the New Jersey Center for Science, Technology, and Mathematics, located at Kean, new algorithms and methods for knowledge mining from very large datasets
are being validated.
